Chitwa Chitwa is a luxury private game lodge overlooking one of the largest lakes of the Sabi Sands reserve. Its location makes it a prime spot for game viewing as a constant procession of animals make their way down to the lake to quench their thirst. The lodge has been family owned for 40 years and is run by Brink family, who are dedicated to ensuring that visitors receive warm hospitality and an unforgettable safari experience.

Chitwa Chitwa is home to some of the most stylish and luxurious lodges in Sabi Sands. The six air-conditioned suites are each individually decorated with an original fusion of African chic and contemporary European design. The suites are extremely spacious with between 130 and 180 square meters of room available. Families are welcomed at Chitwa Chitwa as the suites are able to accommodate up to 2 extra beds, and if even more space is required, the Charlsy Suite consists of two extra interlinking en-suite rooms joined by a comfortable living area. Each suite features a sitting area, fireplace, stand alone bath and indoor and outdoor showers, and each opens onto a large wooden deck with a private plunge pool overlooking the lake.

The lodge also has a main public area that boasts a magnificent bar and lounge area which melt into the surrounding trees. There is even a library available which is a cosy place to relax while diving into one of the many books. One can also enjoy a session in the gym or a relaxing massage in the spa. The dining experiences are superb and may vary from lunch and breakfast being served next to the pool in the lapa overlooking the lake to dinners being enjoyed in the luxurious dining room or under the stars around a roaring fire. Drinks can be enjoyed in the lounge bar and a wine can even be selected from the unique underground wine cellar built around the natural granite rock floor.

The safari experience is also top class with some of the finest Big 5 game viewing on the planet. Leopard sightings are a particular attraction and the guides are lead by highly qualified and passionate rangers and Shangaan trackers.
