The luxurious Tongabezi Lodge is situated on the banks of the Zambezi River, just upstream of the Victoria Falls. The lodge features a lounge, a bar, and a swimming pool which has been landscaped into the rock face. Meals are served in the large dining room, on an outdoor deck overlooking the river, in the privacy of your room, or floating on the Zambezi River. The five houses and four river cottages are each individually styled and cater for two to five guests. Game drives, bush walks and boating trips are all-inclusive. Victoria Falls can be viewed in close proximity to the lodge, on a short excursion with your guide.

A wide range of activities are on offer during your stay at Tongabezi. Visit Victoria Falls, enjoy an early morning Game Drive, drift down the Zambezi River on a Sunset Cruise, or book a romantic Sampan dinner floating out on the river. One of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, Mosi-oa-Tunya or ‘the smoke that thunders’ is a short drive from Tongabezi. Our guides will take you to view the breath-taking sheet of water cascading down 108m and walk across Knife Edge bridge. During high water, you might be drenched in the spray. You can also visit Livingstone Island where David Livingstone first gazed on the Falls, swim in Devil’s Pool on the very edge of the abyss, or take a micro-light or helicopter flight through the gorge and over the Falls.
